HOMELESS CONNECT ANNUAL EVENT Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 10:00AM-3:00PM Salvation Army Community Center, 222 E Indiana Use Nora entrance - STA #25, #27 Homeless Connect, your one-stop shop for resources and services is back! The 2013 event provided services such as free meal, DSHS services, family services, veterans services, medical screenings, clothing, food bank, housing services, hair cuts, pet food, diapers, blankets, coats, and other winter gear, as well as information about other services offered through local providers. This year, Brigids Cloak - Spokane Homeless Outreach will have a table. Well be giving out soft granola bars and collecting stories to dispel the myths and stereotypes about the homeless. This event is also one of the survey points for the annual point-in-time survey of the homeless in Spokane, which helps determine funding for the area.
