HONEST AD for honest people please!! Fran is a 7yr old 15.1hh tb dressage mare that has lovely breeding, looks and bags of talent and potential! She is very willing and trainable with 3 good elastic ground covering paces. She is quiet in the school (some may even say lazy on occasion) working light and soft in the contact. We have been out this season competing in unaffil dressage up to novice level and have scored up to 71%. She has never come home without a rosette and the judges love her. At a show she is on her toes for the first 5-10 mins (she loves pony parties!!) but she is generally not spooky-not affected by boards, dogs, flowers etc. She is super to travel and stands like a rock, she will load in the dark and is happy to stand and munch her hay. I haven’t done any jumping with Fran myself (too much of a wuss!) but I have popped her over on the lunge and she jumped in her previous home. She doesn’t get fizzy or excited and if anything is quite lazy about it. She hacks alone and in company. As with the shows she can be occasionally be a bit more excitable than normal so she wouldn’t suit a novice or nervous rider but it isn’t anything a confident rider would bother about. She is easy to clip, shoe, dentist and generally handle! Fran had a colic incident 2 yrs ago which with a bit of common sense management has not been a problem since- (basically dont over feed or leave stood in for days in end!! ) Nothing super sinister going on it I just want to be 100% honest. She also wind sucks at certain times of the day. These factors are obviously reflected in her asking price and home is far more important and will be vetted. If you can cope with the above issues then Fran will make someone a really really fantastic horse that will go out, look good and win. She is only for sale due to me not having enough time to be the next charlotte Dujardin!! 😂 For any more info please message me!
