HONESTLY!!!! I have NEVER in my life...ever met...braver man...than Dee W. Hendrixson....in all his pain and so much loss, he rarely complains, tries hard to still be very independent. A man that lost...HIS VOICE BOX, lymph nodes, HOLE IN THROAT to breathe now, some hearing loss, already amputee above knee! ON A FEEDING TUBE into his belly to drag around...hooked up to IV POLE with bag, must use mucus machine and breathing machine 6x a day, PLUS WOUND CARE to entry to feed tube PLUS holes and radiation burns ON HIS THROAT! His taste buds burned out...RADIATION!!! Side affects of chemo...horrible. the man is 66, viet nam vet, and still he WILL NOT GIVE UP even with ALL THESE HUGE CHANGES and EIGHT SURGERIES, weeks on end in hospitals, 6 weeks nursing home last year, AWAY from home...SO MUCH and been thru...SO MUCH!!! Incredible!!!
