HONG KONG: Three student leaders from Scholarism, an activist group seeking political reform in Hong Kong, began a hunger strike on Monday. The student leaders, including Alex Wong, founder of Scholarism, held a press conference on Wednesday and read an open letter to CY Leung, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong government, re-affirming their struggle for universal suffrage and demands for dialogue with the government.
