********************************HONOR MISSION****************************** William Leslie Hay, USAF, Vietnam / PGR / Charleston, IL, 18 OCT 14 The family of William Leslie Hay has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders stand a flag line and assist the warrior Brotherhood MC at his memorial service to honor his service to this Great Nation. The memorial service honoring his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at First Church of God, 1225 Montgomery Avenue, Charleston IL, with Chaplain David Keefer officiating. Military rites will be performed by Paul McVey V.F.W. Post #1592. There will be no visitation. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bill was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders of East Central Illinois and was a past SRC in region four, He was Vice-President of the Warrior Brotherhood (Battle Veterans) Motorcycle Club, and a life member of the V.F.W. Staging: 1400 Hrs (2:00 pm) at the First Church of God, 1225 Montgomery Avenue, Charleston, IL Briefing: 1415 Hrs (2:15 pm) Following the briefing we will establish a flag line until the service begins. At the conclusion of the Memorial Service we will stage at the Paul McVey V.F.W. Post #1592 for a short escort to a location to be announced at the briefing.
