Description: -Supervise the system operators in a SCADA environment. -Provide direct supervision of the National System Control Center (NSCC) System Operators to ensure safe, efficient, and economical remote operation and monitoring of power generating assets. -Monitor the real-time operation of the generating assets to ensure they are operated in a manner that meets or exceeds applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. -Collaborate with the System Operators and regional maintenance personnel to implement grid restoration plans following disruptions to the regional electrical grids. -Coordinate power sales and purchases marketing and regional regulatory entities based on day ahead and real-time price schedules.
