Apply today by sending your resume to Tom@icistaffing Tax Senior Manager’s Position Summary: The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for providing guidance to junior level tax staff on the completion of individual tax returns and all levels of corporate, partnership, S-corp and trust tax returns. Tax Senior Manager’s Essential Job Functions: •This Tax Senior Manager will also review the work of the tax preparer and client. •Review returns prepared by the tax preparers •Collaborates on decisions of routine tax matters with A&A/Tax staff or Director •Will be responsible for the review of income tax accrual •Brings significant tax questions and suggested planning opportunities to the attention of the Director or Client •Researches and proposes resolution to tax technical matters •Computes tax returns timely in a deadline oriented environment •As the Tax Senior Manager you will demonstrates effective project management skills, inspires teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and uses current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and service •May participate in preparing invoices and details of fees to clients •Involved in all aspects of client relationship •Provide supervision and on-the-job training to tax preparers •Participate in staff performance evaluations and provide verbal and written feedback •Mentors and develops the technical and professional skills of tax staff •Develops ability to recognize tax issues, business problems and expanded service opportunities with existing clients. •May participate in governmental tax examinations; may represent the client before the appropriate taxing authorities. •Develop an area of interest and related expertise emphasis. •Participates in firm’s practice development efforts through involvement with referral sources, community and industry activities. •Performs other duties as may be assigned.
