These units take advantage of your 4WDs normal heating system, and heat the water via a high-efficiency heat exchanger. Using a 12V pump, cold water is pushed through one side and piping hot water instantly comes out the other. Having a hot water system on your 4WD has many uses including showers, washing the dishes and simply the luxury of being able to completely wash the grease off your hands after some urgent bush repairs.
