When you look back Ancient Egyptian history you realise that Egyptians gave to the world the use of herbs, plants and seeds in remedies, food preparations and medicine. Ancient Egyptians were highly skilled with herbs. The Papyrus Ebers, an ancient text written in 1500BC, contains references to more than 700 HERBAL REMEDIES, including herbs and plants such as Aloe vera, Caraway seeds, Marjoram leaves, Spearmint leaves, Basil leaves, Hibiscus, Calendula, Anise seeds, Parsley leaves, Cumin, Licorice roots, Chamomile seeds, Dill, Garlic and many other hundreds of herbs/plants. HERBS are the plants that provide the highest quality food to man, containing vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in natural balance and harmony. They have been used in Ancient Egypt in many different ways and forms like in food, as a medicine, in cosmetics and in fragrances. These herbs were used as a whole, leaves, stems, roots or seeds or in special preparations. Food in Ancient Egypt was often spiced with aniseed, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, dill, fennel, fenugreek, marjoram, mustard, thyme and parsley. WHOS USING ONE OR FEW OF THESE HERBS/PLANTS or SEEDS?
