HOW CAN VTR PROMOTE MY COMPANY? There are several ways to promote your business or organization with VTR. 1. Press and Feature Stories - Send us frequent updates about your business and we’ll talk about it on our broadcast. Each story is accompanied with online audio, video, blog entries and social media posts. Be sure to take advantage of our feature stories where we take a creative approach to journalism and have some real fun. Features are a great way to demonstrate a new service, show off the new office decor or determine the office foozeball champion. Have fun. Think Viral. We’re open to ideas. 2. Job Postings - Do away with boring old classifieds and take the opportunity to tell the story behind the job posting. Use our Tech Jobs segment to scout for top-talent and showcase your company to the community. 3. Events and Speaking Engagements - Let us know about any events you are hosting and we will include it in our Events segment. VTR covers, sponsors and organizes tech and business-related events in Vancouver and across British Columbia. 4. Promotions - On the quest to provide value to our listeners, we love to give free stuff (or deals) to our community. If you have a contest or give-away in mind, let us know and we’ll add it to our Promotions section of the web site. 5. Program Sponsorship - There are also traditional avenues for participation such as program sponsorship. For rates and other information on program sponsorships and partnerships, call Robert Privett at BadBird Media. 6. Paid Advertisement - Ad space is available on VTR’s web site, on distributed media products (video, audio, etc) and over the CiTR airwaves. For rates and other information about paid advertisements, call Robert Privett at BadBird Media. 7. Charitable Donations - CiTR Student Radio and The Vancouver Technology Report are non-profit entities. CiTR accepts financial and material donations from the community and, in many cases, can provide a tax-deductible receipt for 50% of the total or market value. To donate directly to CiTR radio, go to citr.ca Each VTR segment also gets ‘tagged’ with your name and company info for easy access and archiving on our web site. Tagged companies and personalities get their very own page on our site that includes each story in which they were mentioned. No matter how you make use of the VTR’s promotional opportunities, you always get a great return on your investment. vancouvertechreport/about/#company
