HOW DO YOU BUDGET FOR YOUR TRAVEL FUNDS? HOW ABOUT BUDGETING DURING TRAVELS? After understanding each spending habits, we both noticed that we wouldn’t be able to save any money without tracking our expenses. Between the two of us and with me having an Economics degree, the White Monkey and I agreed that I should handle the budgeting. Whenever we got paid, I would separate the cash into 5 envelopes for our savings and expenses: Cost of Living, Emergency Fund, Flights budget, Leisure and Travel Fund. Now that were in Peru, we always try to keep track of our income and expenses down to the last cent! OOPS, even while travelling we have our budget separated in envelopes/paper- food, drinks, accommodation and transport! PLEASE SHARE YOUR BUDGETING TIPS! =) - Kach, Little Brown Monkey
