For one to live successfully on earth and still be remembered many years thereafter, the above question should be pertinent in ones mind. The world have seen quite intelligent fellows, though intelligent but contributed little or nothing in changing their immediate environment positively. The world have also seen greedy, selfish-dont-care, strong, me first. Individuals who ended up influencing their societies negatively. Examples abound. Making good imprints on the sand of history though not an easy venture but it is worth doing, no matter the pains and sacrifices involved. The import of this article is to stir our spirits and subsequently spur great CHAMAites for action. The harvest is plenty but the labourers are very few. In this forum, we have written about Mary Scelessor, Mother Theresa, etc. These were great missionaries that championed the betterment of humanity.Today, they are being celebrated and honoured wherever and whenever their names are mentioned worldwide. Remember, they were not rich yet they were not deterred. You too can be celebrated, honoured and remembered like them. The onion is all in your hands to build legacies for yourself now that you are alive. CHAMA has given us the platform to write our names on Gold collectively and individually. CHAMA will definitely outlive us and the question we should be asking ourselves is when were gone, how do we want to be remembered in CHAMA, Africa and world over. Is it simply as UCHE OKAFOR, THE BOICHEMIST OR THE AUTHOR OR AS A HUMANITARIAN SERVICE PROVIDER? Put your respective names and occupations where mine are, pulse and ponder for at least 2 minutes and answer the question. Are we in CHAMA focus less, visionless and passionless and or with greedy interests? Are we in Chama to make impacts? help humanity? Fight malaria? Undo HIV/AIDS? Challenge & erase water borne diseases? Once again pulse and ponder and attempt answering these questions sincerely. Change starts not will millions of people but with one determined person for GOODNEESS SAKE. That person could be you. As CHAMAites, Africa is our target and our interests are making Africa MALARIA, HIV/AIDS AND WATER BORNE DISEASES FREE. DONT BE AN ORDINARY MEMBER, STAND OUT AMONG THE PACKS AND COUNTED.
