HOW SOON DO WE FORGET “Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him”(Luke 8:39). Good Morning: Each time we testify about God’s greatness, power and strength, we provide a testimony that helps convince someone else that no matter how dark it gets, there is always a bright light in heaven. Those who have been touched by the hand of God perform a mighty work, when they share what God has done in their lives with others. There is nothing more encouraging to a person who faces the prospect of fighting cancer than to hear the testimony of a cancer survivor. The encouraging words of persons who have overcome adversity is fertilizer to those that are going through a storm. That’s why it is important for every believer to share the benefit of their experiences in life with others. Has God done Anything For You? If so have you shared the goodness of God with others? I do know there is a whole lot of folks who like to take credit for what God has done. When your money got funny and your change was strange, and God made a way out of no way for you. Folks dont like to share things like that. They want you to think that they never been in a storm. Everything has always been a lump of sugar and they always had it together. Being a shame of God doing for you what you couldnt do for yourself; “I do believe thats the worst thing a Christian could ever do. You should go tell it on the mountain, where those that are stuck down in valley would hear you. Its a whole lot of folks stuck in the valley because they dont know God. Ill say that again, ”They dont know God.” I never said God didnt know them, because theres not a person in this world that God doesnt know. Has God Done Any Thing for You? If you are waiting on others to share their testimony before you share yours; I have some Gospel for you this morning and that is, “ DO Not Hold Your Breath.” In closing; Ill journey back into the Book of Luke to show you what Our Savior encounter after a healing process had taken place. “And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?”(Luke 17:12-17). There was only ONE that gave thanks to God for what He Had Done. Will you the like the One or Will You be Like the Nine? My heart tells me the nine went about their business, like many do today forgetting God and taking all the credit themselves. Family and friends, Let Us give God the Glory for All that Hes Done. Have A Bless Day!
