HOW TO FIND AND FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL-Part 1 Today, we want to follow up on our last week message by giving you practical steps to find and fulfill your God giving potentials. There are ways of estimating where your life calling is. Knowing and following these priciples can help you fulfill your destiny. What are the things you must look for? YOUR PASSION What stirs your passion? What are the things that you are passionate about? What are the things that you are never tired of doing? Are you passionate about good food?May be you are never tired of cooking in the kitchen? A career in the restaurant business is may be your calling. Are you passionate about helping people?. Maybe you were called to be a social worker, nurse, medical doctor, etc. YOUR FRUSTRATIONS What are your frustrations? Are you generally frustrated at disorganized environments, unkempt places, unmowed gardens, ignorant people, etc?God may want you to use what frustrates you to be your calling Moses felt wounded and frustrated every time that an Egyptian oppressed an Israelite. This eventually led him to defend one Israelite against an Egyptian thereby mistakenly killing the Egyptian. Moses’ frustrations were an indication that he was built to be a deliverer and rescue the oppressed. Joseph was frustrated whenever anybody had a dream he could not interpret and he was always ready to help. His gift and calling were in that direction and that was the path to his breakthrough. YOUR NATURAL HABITS What comes naturally to you?Are you good with words? A career in writing and publishing may be part of your calling. Do you love to speak? A career in public speaking may be in place. Do you easily get to the root of things? A career in forensic science or in investigative journalism may be for you. YOUR AREA OF PRODUCTIVITY Where are you most productive? Many people bang their heads against the wall in careers where they are struggling. However there are areas that come easy for them and where they are very productive. This is indicative of their potential. We pray God will help you to discover and fulfill your destiny in Jesus name.
