HOW TO START ANYTHING WITHOUT MONEY Hey everyone, One of my previous posts titled three other ways to start , which I consider as one of the most popular post, received wide acclaims and some readers demanded on receiving a spin off or a part 2 of that post. In life and societies throughout the world, there are two very common mind barriers that stop us to start anything. They are related to money and they come in two forms: I need money to start something.. I want to get paid financially before starting anything... Those two mindsets form the core of many unrealized projects. Dreams are being aborted by the I need money barrier . The truth is :You dont necessarily need money to start anything. I need money to start something How many people will you hear saying stuff like: -I need money to start : a relationship, my studies,a business, anything else.... Years pass by, and their goals never come to fruition because they have programmed their minds to believe that having money is the start of everything. I will take a little silly example related to the country where I live: a young man, from a poor background, who matriculated from high school years ago, would not bother to go to university and achieve his personal goals because he strongly believed that he needed a lot of money to study. Every year, the same excuse rose up: I am poor, I need money to study, since I do not have money, I wont go to university. Fortunately for him, someone had to clear his mind, and make him understand what I am typing in this post: Money is not the only key to make you start. That special someone made him understand that he could apply to university and get financial help from those universities, but this would have never happened if he kept on conditioning himself to that mind barrier. Thank God, the young man listened and has graduated three years later... How many people are similar to that young man. They freeze all move and anticipate failure before attempting anything. Dear friend, when you do not have bus fare money, you walk! Because God gave you feet. Start looking at what you hold right now and live your dream. Money is important but not everything, because even poor people get married, study, end up presidents, become sports heroes...Stop using the lack of money as an excuse, it will get you nowhere. I want to get paid financially before starting anything... It is a very dangerous and silly excuse that will stop you from becoming what God expects from you. So many talented people , who have never started anything, would never show a hint of what they are worth unless they receive a dime. I would understand if you have already established a reputation for yourself, then it is legitimate to demand financial rewards for your services. But if you never started anything, you have to be ready to offer some of your services for free!!!! Imagine a young man with a soccer playing gift demanding a high salary before being seen by anyone. He has never played, but he has the gift, still he wants to get paid high wages before proving his worth. Isnt it silly? The same applies to many other industries, where some young gifted people who never started a single thing, require payments to deliver a service. I know it sounds tough, but sometimes, you got to plunge into the free waters to make a name for yourself. Its one of the best marketing strategy for those who have never started anything. Dont let Unessential Greed come on the way of your talents. And if you cant provide financially from your dream activity, then get a full time job, and engage yourself into your passion on a part time basis until you successfully manage to raise a decent financial income from it. OK, I hope that I have been as clear as possible while being broad.
