HOW WILL YOU WORSHIP? For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” **Matthew 4:10 ********** All of mankind is engaged in the practice of worship. Some choose to worship God and, as a result, reap the joy that He intends for His children. Others distance themselves from God by worshiping such things as earthly possessions or personal gratification … and when they do so, they suffer. Today, as one way of worshiping God, make every aspect of your life a cause for celebration and praise. Praise God for the blessings and opportunities that He has given you, and live according to the beautiful words found in the 5th chapter of 1Thessalonians: “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (vv. 16-18). God deserves your worship, your prayers, your praise, and your thanks. And you deserve the joy that is yours when you worship Him with your prayers, with your deeds, and with your life. Worship is about rekindling an ashen heart into a burning fire. ********** Dear Lord, today I will worship You with my thoughts, my deeds, my words, and my prayers. Amen.
