Prompt employee wellness by letting your employees have the "weekend off". Adopt a no-email policy giving your employees a break for a specific time frame in the evenings during the week and banning e-mails completely on Saturdays and Sundays. Provide a "few" perks such as the occasional catered lunch - food always makes employees happy and builds camaraderie. Remember when we were back in school and we had recess? Institute the occasional spontaneous outside recess break to promote mental health and let employees enjoy the fresh air. Give employees a day off to volunteer. Set up a program that allows employees to take a paid day to volunteer in the community - boost employee moral - win-win situation - good for the Company, good for the employee and good for the community.
