Our Energy and Infrastructure focused on coal seam gas services, engineering procurement and construction contractors and major pipelines in the oil and gas sector. With a very healthy pipeline of work, our projects are varied and our safety record is strong. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for upcoming FIFO positions on our Queensland Project. These pivotal safety positions will provide HSE services and advice in line with business and legislative requirements while providing accurate and timely support to all stakeholders. These positions are based in Camp, typically on a 21/7 roster and are predominately 60% field based and 40% office based. Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Conducting safety audits, inspections and undertaking or assisting in incident investigations Monitoring, identifying and reporting on Safety matters, preparing data on safety performance that identifies trends and opportunities to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures Coordinating and assisting in the management of fitness for work programs and testing regimes to support maintaining a safe work environment aligned to company and legislative requirements Actively participating and assisting with HSE meetings, pre-starts and tool box talks Educating, encouraging and influencing employees regarding health and safety activities Desired skills & experience Certificate IV in Safety as a minimum 3+ years site Safety experience within mining, energy or construction, ideally within a contractor environment Well rounded knowledge of safety including; risk workshops, D&A testing, reporting, fatigue management, incident investigation and emergency response Excellent communication and facilitation skills will be highly regarded as will your understanding of behavioural-based HSE management programs and applications Competent in MS Office suites We are seeking candidates who enjoy both the field and office components of a safety role with the ability to effectively drive the safety culture.
