HSE Manager (Kurdistan) Dovre Group - Erbil - IQ Job description BASIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Provides leadership and direction to the Iraq Team to achieve efficient and safe operations KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Works closely with the Operations Director & Country Representative and other technical/engineering/project managers to plan, develop and implement the HSE strategy and short, medium and long term business plans, including alignment with the Integrated Asset Plan. Develops HSE KPIs for Iraq Business Unit, and monitors and reports on these on an on-going basis Takes a lead role in the development and implementation of HSE standards, procedures and systems and provides assurance that activities are undertaken in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner and in compliance with Company standards and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements Shepherds the implementation and understanding of Process Safety within the Iraq Business Unit. Provide leadership and direction to the HSE function to drive the delivery of HSE strategy, plans and programmes and to ensure provision of quality HSE support aligned to meet business objectives. As member of the Iraq in country Leadership Team, the job holder will influence Leadership & the business to ensure that HSE is managed and delivered though the Line to prevent HSE related losses. Develops and manages the HSE budget. Development and implement appropriate management systems that support the Iraq Business Unit operations in alignment with other respective managers. Responsible for setting up the programmes that will assist in developing the HSE culture in Clients Iraq organisation through the appropriate Leadership and behavioural coaching and/or training.
