MIN 20° MAX 30° WIDE BAY: Wednesday... Partly cloudy. The chance of thunderstorms in the southwest during the afternoon and evening. Winds easterly 15 to 25 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 18 and 21 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 30s. Fire Danger - High. Outlook for Thursday... Partly cloudy. The chance of showers from the early morning. Winds east to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 17 and 21 with daytime temperatures reaching around 30. STATE FORECAST: Fine and mostly sunny in the far southwest. Isolated showers and thunderstorms elsewhere through the interior near and south of about Longreach, tending more scattered in the afternoon and evening and extending into the southeast inland south of about Ipswich. Possible isolated showers near the southeast coast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the northwest of the state, mostly near the Gulf of Carpentaria coast. Isolated showers developing over the east tropical and central coasts, becoming more frequent during the evening with possible thunderstorms developing.
