***HUGABLE HUNK CAN BE ADOPTED ON LINE!*** A volunteer writes: Just like the place for which hes named, Bali combines ageless beauty and fun times in one delightful package and his distinguished good looks are most definitely something to write home about! This Boxer-Dreamboat mix may have arrived as a stray but he has almost all the manners of a well-trained pet - hes seemingly house broken, sits on command, takes treats politely and plays with his tennis ball like he was born to it. Its clear Bali spent the last 5 years not on the street, but doing his duty as someones loyal companion. He loves to go exploring (and sniffing and tasting) and while he does pull strongly in his enthusiasm (hellooo squirrels!), Im happy to sail along in the wake of that wagging tail stump for the vicarious joy of watching him lose himself in the great outdoors. When we pass a group of playing children Bali perks his ears, wiggles his butt and looks at them with a smile - perhaps he wants to join in their game? Though a bit distracted in his own affections (so much to see! so much to do!), hes certainly happy to let me hug and kiss him and I take shameless advantage as we set up for our photo shoot. Friendly as he is with humans, Bali gets overexcited in boisterous canine company and like a spirited youngster he doesnt always play well with other dogs so an experienced family where he can be an only child or paired with a very chilled-out companion would be ideal.
