HUGE SHOUT OUT TO Margenes Bridal-Idaho Falls!!!! Many of you know about our wedding dress nightmares. Well this is the rest of the story with a very happy ending. I would like to THANK Joni, Kim and all crew at Margenes Bridal-Idaho Falls for saving my daughters wedding day!!! You all are WONDERFUL, AMAZING and complete MIRACLE working ANGELS in my book!!! They saved my daughters wedding and made her feel beautiful and at peace when that was not the case with another shop in town. I share my story in hopes of saving any brides or mother of the brides from all the heart ache, stress and tears that we experienced with another bridal shop in town, which is also a major national chain. After 3 long HORRIBLE months of dealing with Davids Bridal and having problem after problem, the wrong dress size ordered in 2 sizes too small, phone calls with promises that the right dress would be in asap for over a week and then they were never able to get the right dress in at all. A 2nd dress purchased 1 month before the wedding with alterations paid for, after 2 different attempts at the alterations (which the 2nd time in I had to ask the seamstress to physically measure my daughter instead of guessing the right size sleeve and then to have them laugh it off in my face) and they were still terribly wrong and ugly with only 2 weeks until the wedding. Even after all the problems that we had I felt that I was being dismissed with my concerns and basically told to deal with it without any remorse on the stores part for all the problems they created. With only 2 weeks before the wedding we decided to have a friend that is a seamstress try to fix the problems. She couldnt because of what Davids Bridal had done prior. They also sold us the wrong size under garments that they fitted her for which all had to be switched out. They never offered a refund or discount in any way for the problems that they created. We paid full price for everything, including a veil and tiara. Long story short, They still owe me money that I over paid and refused to refund it because of some computer programming that wont allow them to refund it back. Completely illegal and unethical on all grounds in my book. They told me that they would send me a check from their corporate office, which I still have not received nearly 3 months later. 2 weeks before the wedding, being stressed beyond belief with a dress that my daughter really didnt love and that didnt fit right, I called Joni and explained the situation to her. She got us right in the next morning and by a miracle found a dress that was coming to their store later that week that wasnt already on order for another bride and was perfect for my daughter and that she loved. Joni even tracked down the UPS driver at another store in town to get the dress off the truck when it came in so my daughter could try it on and get to the alterations lady. Tuesday, only 4 days before the wedding, we met with Erin, one of Margenes Bridal wonderful seamstresses, who worked her magic to make the dress fit perfectly to my daughter. Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful my daughter was and that her dress was stunning, which it is. Not only did Joni and her crew save the wedding day, but they also made my daughter feel at peace and calm amid all the ciaos that was going on with the wedding. Joni also called to check up on me after the wedding to make sure everything went well and to hear all about our beautiful wedding. I feel that THANK YOU is not enough to say for all that Margenes Bridal has done for us. THEY ARE HANDS DOWN miracle workers and THE ONLY PLACE TO GO for wedding dresses. You ladies will always be in my heart and mind! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for my and my daughter!!!!
