HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR Calypso St. Barth is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to complete day-to-day administrative tasks and duties to support the Manager of HR and employee population within Corporate and all Calypso St. Barth Stores. The ideal candidate will be the point of contact for new hire processing, benefits administration and perform various recruitment duties. RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to: • Act as HR liaison and key contact between the stores and the corporate office • Create, maintain and organize HR employee files in accordance with employment law requirements • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of I-9 files and perform audits as needed • Post open positions on Calypso St. Barth website as well as various job boards • Assist in conducting phone screens and thorough reference checks; communicate effectively to Manager of HR and hiring managers • Manage new hire paperwork process: prepare offer letters and new hire forms; ensure that all paperwork is received and completed and follow-up as needed in a timely manner • Coordinate the collection and processing of employment documentation (hires, terminations and changes) including job descriptions, change of status forms, and all legally required documents • Meet and greet all applicants • Conduct new hire orientation • Manage separation paperwork process: ensure separation forms are completed and all necessary departments are informed (i.e. IT), ensure benefits’ providers are notified • Maintain compliance with all required labor law postings in all locations • Administer benefits and assist with the renewal process • Reconcile all benefit invoices and ensure timely payment processing • Complete employment verifications • Complete administrative tasks i.e. making copies, faxing, scanning, etc. • Additional duties as assigned Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree required • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Human Resources role • Experience working within a retail organization preferred • Must be able to maintain confidentiality • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change • Detail oriented and highly organized team player • Ability to work independently • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Multi-state experience preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefit package including medical, dental, PTO, flexible spending account and a generous discount on our merchandise.
