HURRICANE NORBERT: Hurricane Norbert brought high winds and heavy rains to the Baja California peninsula in northwestern Mexico on Friday. Baja California Sur Governor Marcos Covarrubias advised people in vulnerable areas to stay indoors as it moved inland. The National Hurricane Centre shared this update on the hurricane’s progress.
