HUSBANDS AND WIVES ARE URGED: BY FAITH, LOVE AND ENJOY ONE ANOTHER; AND THE WIFE TO RESPECT HER HUSBAND!!! For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:31-33 NIV Marriage is essentially about two people becoming as ONE; united by faith in Gods Love! This is a profound mystery when we consider. However, likewise with Jesus Christ and the Church! The husband MUST love his wife as himself and the wife MUST respect (honour) her husband! Are you obeying the Word of God?!! Hmm!!! That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Titus 2:4,5 KJV Who cares about these Godly values and instructions to women for today? How many women care about sobriety, loving the husband and children, being discreet, chaste, home keepers, good, obedient to their husbands etc. today? How many husbands remain in the Word of God to lead the home with Gods Love? Its no wonder that things fall apart in marriages today; the Word of God is dishonoured and disobeyed generally! In disobeying the Word of God, we malign the Word of God and cause others to do likewise. May God Help us to return to our first Love!!! Enjoy life with the woman whom you love all the days of your fleeting life which He has given to you under the sun; for this is your reward in life and in your toil in which you have labored under the sun. Eccesiastes 9:9 NASB Instead of abandoning your wife in a state of neglect, you should strive to enjoy life with her; as this is an opportunity Given to you by God Almighty in the short time you have together as husband and wife on earth! Please Help us o Lord to receive Your Wisdom to live life according to Your Word in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (6) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 Faith is very crucial if we hope to please God; and is it not in our best interests to please God? To please God, you must come to Him alright; how can you come to God unless you believe that He exists and actually rewards all who diligently seek Him?
