HVC LCC ..................KOOPER GARREN KOOPER is mighty special around here and a long-term LCC member. In 2010, I surgically repaired his lower jaw after it had been snapped off in a dog attack. Then did a major dentistry with oral surgery twice to address his on-going periodontal disease that is claiming this teeth. AND we found out ... he is the FATHER of my beloved BLUE ... THAT is one long story. Last Saturday I had a call about a bump on his butt that was getting bigger. In April 2014 the area was a sebaceous abscess but now it was much more - a firm mass 3/4 in diameter. Exam indicated it was time for a surgical removal. So today Momma Gloria, an ovarian cancer survivor, who I practice my Spanish with, brought Kooper for his procedures of neuter, tumor excision, dental prophy and oral surgery - 4 extractions.. Quite the day but at age 12, Kooper still has go. All went well: anesthesia, surgery and recovery and well wait out the next couple of weeks to see what happens at the tumor site.
