Ha, I got called a racist yesterday, ran into some post about Democrats being the reason the KKK exists, Jim Crow Laws exist.... Like they think modern Democrats today are that same party. They are using that as a recruitment for their base. They just conveniently have selective memories. Today it is the Republicans heading up attacks on the minorities, women, gays, and the poor. Like to know how they explain this weird coincidence. That is funny, I am a racist, I am actually Hispanic, and I have dated out side of my ethnic group over my life time. I even think and act more White then Hispanic... usually people never know. Guess I do such a good job looking / acting white, I am now considered a racist because of my party affiliation. The actions of the past Democrat Party, does not win out today as the ideology of the Democrat Party. They seriously think there is a conspiracy, proving some grand plan to discriminate against minorities by keeping them tied to welfare. I was studying my economic lectures, and it dont sound like that to me. The problem would be if welfare didnt exist, our homeless rates would be up, prison rates would be up. Their reasoning just does not make sense. My question is, if President Lincoln was here today, what party do you think he would identify with - Today?
