(PS: she looks angry in every overly-posed picture on her profile). ------------About Me Since my hobby is reading, I appreciate a guy who reads non-fiction by evolved writers (my definition of literate), not just magazines, liberal newspapers, and street signs. He is health conscious and able to see his feet without bending. He is discriminating in his taste in films, books, and TV programs. He is ethical/responsible with sense of humor and values that match mine. He must be independent-minded, politically astute, intellectually competent, well read, non-academic student of American 20th century history, conservative or libertarian, definitely not a progressive/socialist/stasist (dealbreaker) and take the trouble to be well-informed about political philosophy, personal responsibility, as well as global issues from sources other than the Liberal media. He takes fiscal responsibility for his retirement. He is currently very happy with his life the way it is and not looking to POF for a dramatic upgrade. He does not post photos with car or sunglasses and reveals at least a little something about what makes him tick philosophically/politically/ethically. If you do not pay at least $10,000 annually in federal taxes in addition to real estate taxes, we probably will not relate. Democrats/Liberals are for equality while Conservatives/Libertarians are for freedom. Both sound virtuous, but the two are opposing concepts. Freedom allows/promotes each individual to rise to his/her own potential. Equality seeks equal outcomes with the goal that no one rises above another. Socialism/Liberal policies result in the equal sharing of misery and ALWAYS hurts the poorest citizens, destroys the Middle Class as it hampers economic growth, jobs, the work force and productivity. When the government can no longer borrow and print money to provide for promised handouts, you end up with failed nations like Greece. If you dont get this, please pass me by.
