Ha! Read the whole thing. In terms of advanced and unchallenged - TopicsExpress

Ha! Read the whole thing. In terms of advanced and unchallenged military power, there has been nothing like the U.S. armed forces since the Mongols swept across Eurasia. They hate us for our freedoms! Uh, no, not quite. They hate us because we wreck their countries and kill them by the hundreds of thousands. The current drone policy is remarkable. I think John Brennan and Obama meet once a week and sift through intelligence reports and make decisions on who to drone. They are judge-jury-executioner for select poor bastards deemed to be nasty terrorists therefore we must drone them. And then we come back and drone the people that rescue the dead and injured! To what purpose? My conclusion is this is all merely to feed our tumorous military-industrial-congressional-security-complex. Because it sure as hell doesnt serve our interests as a people. Or the people we share the planet with. Look at how ready willing and able our leaders were to threaten Syria with a military invasion. If Putin had not picked up on an offhand remark by John Kerry, we may have boots on the ground there by now! In WW2 Americas righteous might converted all our major manufacturing industries into war production. autos to B-29s and tanks in a matter of months. We should take this heinous MIC and convert it to renewable energy tech, fixing global climate change, high speed rail, infrastructure revitalization and other things for the common good and preparation for the future. Multi-national corporations wont let us do that. They want to keep us backward and wrecking the planet all so they can earn $50,000 a day. This is devouring the future for young people and future generations. Pretty much the most rotten thing a generation can do is wreck the future for the next generation. We are making a horrible bleak future for our children. Does that really suck or what?
