Hack attacks on Hong Kong activists; the Israeli government - TopicsExpress

Hack attacks on Hong Kong activists; the Israeli government resorts to social media campaign to put them in positive image while bombing Gaza... And theres the Fifty-cent Party -- web commentators hired by Chinese government to hail verbal abuse on Chinese activists. One activist had him photoshopped naked with naked women in a restaurant. Cyberwarfare is becoming increasingly important in international politics. We really need to hold onto our social media front and guard our rights and freedoms here. Please sign and share this petition to Facebook for our Vietnamese friends -- dozens of them (bloggers and activists inside and outside Vietnam) have had their Facebook accounts closed over the last few weeks. Its because Vietnamese government hires the so-called Du Luan Vien (public opinion shapers) to spam Facebook with complaints and false reports of abuse, forcing FB administrators to close down the activists FB accounts. The latest was on Attorney Le Cong Dinh a prominent human rights and pro-democracy activist and a former political prisoner.
