Had 5 burglaries in 2 years, 2 of those in Feb and May this year! In all cases early hours of the morning while we were home and asleep... Finally got an alarm and the beams get triggered at least once a fortnight, sometimes more. Got a surprising call from SAPS this morning updating me that they had a hit on some of the prints lifted at one of our burglaries. They checked if we knew the person whose name came up and when we said we had never heard of him they informed us they would proceed with arrest and keep us informed. I was beyond pleasantly surprised that there was positive feedback for the first time ever, even if it was months later! :-D
