Had a brand new (120km) Gen-F HSV GTS in this morning for its first wash and some FK1000p paint protection. Unfortunately once we gave the car a thorough bath and stripped off the filling glaze used at the HSV factory (suspect AB Cherry Glaze), the true paint was visible...and it wasnt pretty! Told the owner to take the car back on Monday morning and see what theyre willing to do about it because thats just not good enough for a car thats the best part of $100K. Will put up some photos tomorrow, as well as photos of recent details on a Honda Civic and a Mini Cooper. Tomorrow - brand spanking new FPV GT is dropping in so we can take a look at it...hopefully the FPV guys can prepare a vehicle better than the HSV guys...
