Had a good chat with the greatest TV personality of all time today. Had met him before. It was an event on the Terrace to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BBC 2. Sir David Attenborough is a wonderful broadcster and a wonderful man. Last time I met him he had just had a replacement knee and was on crutches. In 12 hours time, he is having the other knee replaced. And Ive been complaining about a bit of Achilles Tendon trouble!! I really wish the great man well tomorrow.
