Had a good time in London, crashed a photoshoot on Millennium Bridge, a group of models advertising woman’s lingerie. Never got to do the shots I had in mind at the Prospect of Whitby Pub in Wapping, when I got there it was really high tide, the hangman’s noose was under water! Enjoyed Shoreditch and Brick lane, the cafes on Brick lane reminded me of some in San Francisco with their quirky deco and very laid back customer service, just how I like it, that area is like a pocket of sanity within London, very sociable and helpful people, got some good images there, one of an old Indian guy who insisted on posing for me holding a newspaper cut out of himself meeting Prince Charlie boy, he was so proud about it I just didn’t have the heart to tell him what I thought about the Royals! A rough looking homeless guy asked me to get him a cup of soup as the manager wouldn’t serve him, I told him to keep his money and said I would get him one, got him a Bagel aswell, had a little chat with him and took his Portrait, he asked me what Country I was from, Haha, I said this one, East Yorkshire, he asked is that where the angel of the North is, Haha, a bit further up I said. Later met a very nice woman from Brooklyn, we both were admiring the same street art, had an interesting talk with her, in fact I was enjoying the conversation so much I failed to notice her Leica camera around her shoulder until she showed me it. Didn’t get to Richmond Park, decided it warrants another trip dedicated to it, its quite a big area, could do with a mountain bike to get around it, will have to look into renting one from some place in London. Will upload some images later, need to chill.
