Had a great day on the water with Matt Jones fishing out of Bicheno catching our first Tuna for the season. Leaving the Gulch a few minutes behind everyone, we overshot the rest of the fleet and ended up at the shelf very early. Most of the morning was quiet for us until we drove past Team PENN International - Game fishing team to say Gday and had a triple hookup. In total we landed 4 Albacore and 1 Stripey Tuna. A Northerly hammered down after lunch with the remainder, Team Penn, Fire Escape and Big Rig retiring for the day. Thanks to everyone involved who made it a great day on the water including: Mozz, Hooch, Pete, Ashley, Josh, Daz, Adam and all the crews :)
