Had a great day today taking part in the ICAP Charity Day for WaterAid. The trading floors were HEAVING with staff, celebrities and clients all there to raise money and to make a huge difference to the lives of lots of people who are less fortunate than we are. The Duchess of Cornwall, Cheryl Cole, Julie Walters, and Samantha Barks were just a few of the people who took time out to do some trades and I even got to meet Ray Winston! Ajame and her family and friends in Ethiopia werent far from my thoughts and whilst the money from today was dedicated to projects in Madagascar, it really spurred me on. Such a proud day and, if I do say so myself, I didnt do too badly on those trades - they said I was very calm (flattery gets you everywhere! ;) ) – who knew trading could be so easy Cant wait to find out how much we all raised.
