Had a great time at RC Palm Springs Sunup demotion celebration of club Pres Kristin Bloomer and her BOD Jun 27. I demoted her BOD with honors for a successful year. They were Awarded The RI Presidential Citation with Distinction, the coveted Governors Citation, RI Pres Rotary Club Central award for goal setting, they brought in 4 new members, currently have $284 per capita contributions toward the Annual Fund and just sent in funds to achieve the Every Rotarian Every Year banner at the Foundation Gala.. They donated towards Polio Plus, and have $10,620 Total Giving. They received a number of patches and awards at the District Conference for Community and International Service with a significant community service act of providing 2,000 pairs of shoes to students in need in the Palm Springs Unified School District. I recognized the outstanding service of PDG Carrie Dao Allan as District International Chair, PDG Bill William Robert Chase, as District Club Service Chair and incoming Pres Dennis Spurgin for his District Project Peanut Butter grants in two countries. I also welcomed their newest members. DGE Chehab Elawar then inducted new club Pres Dennis Spurgin and his BOD. A great club.
