Had a interesting and emotional day with my dad up North before heading to a talk show in Santa Barbara with Ken Boxer and world champion ice skater Tai babalonia. That helped to cheer me up. Love Santa Barbara and how beautiful it is up there. Such a profoundly emotional time to deal with your parents reaching their time of passing. Theyre both at the relative end of the trail and it brings up all the memories of my life growing up with them. At some point time and distance seems very close together and the past seems like just yesterday. Miss those wonderful family gatherings when we would play sports and compete against each other in every way imagineable!! We were a very competitive family and we all loved winning!! Made for some great and very intense matches!! But it is interesting to see how each one faces and deals with the challenges of passing years and decades. My whole family has become more loving and forgiving and weve have all come to accept each others differences and thats truly a good thing. But I do miss those days!! Hugs to all.
