Had a magical pelagic birding trip this weekend off the coast of Tofino. We headed 68 km offshore to the continental shelf where the seabirding was off the hook!!! We had a couple great birds including a stunning LAYSAN ALBATROSS and a BROWN BOOBY. We stayed in hot pursuit of the Laysan Albie doing 70kph over 12 foot swells. Exhilarating!!!
