Had a marvelous week up in Chicagoland. The event in Lombard was great and Jessica and I made some good money. Our little tent looked so cute set up with our wares. So cute that we were invited to attend the largest Civil war event in Illinois come fall. The lady in charge of the sutlers was insistent that we attend, stating that we would do really well at the event. Another surprise was one of the other Sutlers we knew from the Ft. Donelson event and Cadiz KY event. Small world. Also met a sutler that does Pewter, turns out his father does pewter in TN. All in all a great week. We went downtown, visited family and saw an ABBA cover band. Great time with both my girls. Hated to see it end.
