Had a smashing christmas with family (mum, Lisa, Aston, Kacy, Teegan, Morgan and Astons uncle Mike. Also saw my son David while we were there. My cold finally arrived, not fun. Car wouldnt start Christmas morning so Aston came and collected us. We thought battery had died, so Aston put another battery in. Car was fine Boxing Day, but Saturday was a different matter. While driving All warning lights came on, so got it checked and found out it was the alternator. Aston burnt his hand so wasnt able to fit alternator, but thought as new battery should get home ok ...... But no, battery started fading near cobham services, so pulled there and called breakdown services. They let me know how long they would be, I was kept informed as he was stuck in the traffic that we had been in. The recovery driver was very good, helpful and very polite, and got us home.
