Had a terrible night if racing this evening I have never had such bad luck at one track in a single day. So we ventured to Arlington Raceway to try out the track because we were interested in possibly making a season out of it next year and we wanted to test. So Justin Schelitzche Dan Knish Brandon Plekkenpol and I all went out. Danny justin and I ran the sport compact class and it was a shit show from the start...wrong size tires made for wrong gearing and track conditions were horrible. I tried different things..shifting...not shifting.. high gear low gear tried different lines but nothing seemed to work. Then coming out of turn 2 I felt like someone was pushing me the back end of the car started to slide out uncontrollably so I counter steered but it kept going then I felt a bump and all of a sudden I was looking at the ground out of my passenger side. I stayed on the throttle and steered into it and set the left side back down. Didnt even kill the car but I did kill a steele rim a break rotor and a sturt. Had ti be towed off the track we took the rotor off clamped the break line shut and put a new rim on and I went out for the poweder puff. Was in the lead then losy power to a cylinder I thought for sure I blew it because last time I heard that noise I cooked an engine. I was almost in tears...as this car is my championship car and my pride and joy ugh. So I pulled off got back to the pit popped the hood and it was just a stupid plug wire aahhhhh pissed. Danny got 2nd and justin won the trailer race. Brandon also gave dirt a shot...ask him how it went :)
