Had a wonderful Christmas with my kids (minus Beccy). We really appreciate all the families that went above and beyond with Christmas decorations this year. We had so much fun driving around and looking at lights. I dont know if any other family does this but we take an unscientific survey of how many homes choose white versus colored lights on their inside and outside trees. Most folks, like me, leave the tree in the front window so we can see from the street. I prefer white lights as did my mother. Elton prefers colored lights on the tree as does my Dad and all of my children. We stopped counting when white lighted trees got to 100 and multi-colored lights was only at 71. Elton included the Orange Avenue trees in his count which I questioned. To resolve our issue I think I will do 2 trees next year like my parents finally decided to do 10 years ago. I am curious do other families debate the tree light question?
