Had a wonderful day today. Woke at 0900 MDT (woo-hoo, slept in, and not gonna he late) it was 50f (perfect sleeping weather, ajdvyhe truck didnt start once during the night). Had classical music on radio (really relaxed sleep) Forgot to change the radio station as I started driving, so was pretty mellow going down the road. By noon, American Top 40 with Kasey Kasim was on (1974) so listened to that as Wyoming turned into Nebraska. Then 60s Satellite Survey came on (1965 - lotta Dillon songs) then MTV music Countdown (81) . By that time, I realized Id not once had any talk radio been on. No MSNBC ( You must love our president, and if you dont, your a racist, bigot, homophobic, chauvinist). No Fox News ( FOX NEWS ALERT ! Bill Watterson, creator of Clavin and Hobbes was discovered to have run over a stuffed tiger in his driveway with explosive results. Coming up, well have eye witness accounts, and a panel to discuss what actions the authorities should take. Meanwhile, Obama still sucks. Just like the Republicans in Congress and the previous president too. ) No CNBC ( Its OK to make money. But if you want to keep it, your a greedy Ba****Rd) No ESPN (Gossip columnists for men busily emoting over the private lives of NBA,NFL, and other athletes about things that are none of their damned business) No NPR ( Only the news that fits what we want you to know) Ya know, there is something to be said for this whole Ignorance is Bliss thing.
