Had a wonderful participation in the III Baku International Humanitarian Forum with some very high level meetings. Besides, President and the First Lady, FM and first Deputy FM. Also met 13 Nobel Laureates and ten former presidents of Eastern Europe and Baltics. Also had a wonderful meeting with a high official from the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, who was kind enough to visit me at the hotel. Approximately 800 scholars and other professionals from 70 countries participated. It was a pleasure to meet some of my friends from Washington, DC and USA, whom I havent seen in a year or so. I was scheduled to visit Nakhchivan for regional visit, but had to cancel because of the suddenly scheduled meetings. Excitement of the visit was so high and busy that I have arrived back with a sinus infection feeling very, indeed very tired. Recuperation may take a few days. It is also time to finally file lawsuit against vc and acting director of the Area Study Center (worth 120 million rupees in damages as my attorney and I revised the claim before my Baku visit, in the face of continued harassment) and time to vacate the QAU premises. I will do so as soon as I recuperate. Will be reporting about the Forum in a week or so.
