Had a wonderful time at Bengal Classical Music Festival on its second night! I had never been a fan of classical music in my life, but the environment was so soothing that it actually took us to a meditative level. According to the organizers there were around 31000 people gathered in the army stadium! It was fun to bump on many known faces including celebrities at the middle of the night, and the best part of the show was undoubtedly the flute session by Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia! All of the audiences seemed to have been mesmerized by this 85 year old mans Prabhateshwari raag while welcoming a new dawn. It was such an amazing experience to listen to all the great artists performing with the cool winter breeze! Sometimes I have to admit that I live in one of the craziest cities of the world where we have no securities of life and goods, and at the time we are still so hopeful of a better new day! Long live Dhaka, long live its craziness! O:)
