Had a wonderful trip to Odiham (pronounced like sodium without the S) where one of my ancestors was a Surgeon in the late 1700s and died here in 1839. George Leech was the local Doctor and Master of the Hunt here in Odiham. I found the house he lived in and it is still standing and lived in and looks beautiful. Its the house called Kings Cottage on these pictures. Had a good look around and then went to Basingstoke for some retail therapy. Its a built up city i think, still some of its old part around but not much. There was some sort of bomb scare while i was there which created a bit of a problem with the buses and trains but got home all safe.
