Had an amazing experience yesterday at the Lids store at Parks - TopicsExpress

Had an amazing experience yesterday at the Lids store at Parks Mall in Arlington, TX while I was getting my OGO hat made. The manager asked me what OGO meant. I said it means One Good One. I explained when you do one good one (something good for someone) you become Oh Great One (OGO) to that person. Do an OGO and you become OGO. How about that. And then I did an OGO with the manager, complementing him on his great customer service interactions and talking with him about his career goals. He got excited and said Sir, youve got something here. Then one of his customers, a black religious rapper named WiFi, came into the store and the manager said Tell Wifi about the OGO principle. So, I did, explaining what it is and how simple it is to do an OGO. And then I did an OGO with Wifi, speaking with him about his dreams as a rapper. He got excited and said it was no accident he came into the store when he did. I invited him to get his OGO on and pass it on to someone else. He laughed and said he would. And then he gave me a hug. Wow. Then to my surprise, Wifi asked, Sir, would it be an okay if I took a picture of you and I together. I blurted out, Sure! So the store manager took a picture of Wifi and me on Wifes cell phone. What amazed me is that after the OGO, Wifi treated me like a celebrity. Why? Because an OGO can have a WOW impact on people, and it only takes a few moments. And now I was OGO (Oh Great One) to Wifi. Double Wow. Then the manager asked me to share the OGO principle with one of his employees, so I did. His employee got excited and said This is deep, man and asked me if Id mind if he stitched a small OGO on his cap to remind him to get his OGO on with his customers. I was delighted to say yes. Remember, all it takes is one OGO (One Good One) to be OGO (Oh Great One) - in the eyes of that someone. Now go get your OGO on and pass it on today, Oh Great One. Do an OGO. Be an OGO. You can be an OGO, too. Cheers. *** Special thanks to Samuel K. Akinaka, Jason A Parr, Rex Morris, Bill and Teresa Rossi for their inspiration and encouragement that led to the OGO Principle. i will include OGO in my presentation at the end of the month in Columbus Ohio. Thank you.
