Had an appointment to get stitches out and have my partial cast removed for tomorrow at 10:45, received a call toda y that that was a mistake by the nurse and I had to come to the hospital today instead. Needless to say my visiting family had to leave and way we went to the hospital. Wow the partial cast came off only to reveal a badly disfigured hand. The X-ray showed a 6 x 1 steel plate with bolts and screws. The doctor informed me that my hand was healing and the pain should subside in two weeks but the had to cast it with a full cast and try to straighten the hand well doing so. I wont pretend it put me in tears. He said the stitches were self dissolving and he would not take the steri strips off so here we go for four more weeks at least its not six like the originally stated. Patience is the virtue where can I buy them
