Had an online discussion with someone on a forum today debating the merits of fines for using mobile phones. He said it was revenue raising, I said it was a deterrent. Then the other chap decided to start making it a personal attack so I decided to ask him if he had been fined and he said yes. I then asked him if he agreed with the shark cull ( which I dont btw ) and he said yes kill them all. I asked him if it made him feel safer in the water and he said yes, so I asked him if he was likely to use his phone in the car without a hands free kit and he said no. I them told him that because he was fined I feel safer on the roads. Argument won.
